We'd worked together for a few months before we "actually met" on August 1st. But I don't think either of us will forget that day. I happened to have the section in the restaurant where all of the employees hung out and had a beer after work. It was a slow happy hour, and Nathan had just finished working, and grabbed a beer before sitting on the patio. He was the only person in my section so we started talking. We talked about football mostly - something we both love. I thought he was cute, and we had a really good conversation. After work I picked up my phone and saw that I had a message from him on facebook. We ended up messaging all night. The next day I marched up to him at work with my phone number written down on a tiny piece of paper, and he smiled, put it in his pocket, and has been my best friend ever since!
